Lynsey and Paul’s wedding at Arta in Glasgow's Merchant City was one of those days where everything just clicked into place.

From the moment I arrived, there was a real sense of excitement in the air. The day felt stylish and modern, fun and relaxed. It was packed with personality, full of laughter, and centred around spending time with the people who mean the most.

Arta provided the perfect setting for it all. Tucked away in the heart of Glasgow's Merchant City, the venue's unique Mediterranean-inspired interiors gave the day a relaxed but vibrant atmosphere that suited Lynsey and Paul perfectly.

Morning Preparations at AC Hotel Glasgow

The day began at AC Marriott Hotel in Glasgow, where the morning preparations were already in full swing.

There was a calm confidence to the morning. Lynsey spent time with her bridal party while final touches were completed by Laura Mitchell Makeup. Every detail came together beautifully, from the elegant dress from Aimee Bridal Couture to the stylish finishing touches that reflected the couple's modern approach to the day.

Meanwhile, Paul and his groomsmen looked sharp in their Moss Bros suits, ready for everything the day had in store.

A Ceremony Full of Energy

One of the things that stood out throughout the day was how much fun everyone was having.

The ceremony was full of smiles, laughter and genuine emotion, setting the tone for everything that followed. Rather than feeling overly formal, it felt personal and relaxed, allowing Lynsey and Paul's personalities to shine through.

As always, these are the moments I love capturing most. The real reactions, the nervous smiles, and the little exchanges that can easily be missed in the whirlwind of the day itself.

Champagne Towers, Sunglasses and Merchant City Style

After the ceremony, guests spilled out into the heart of Merchant City where the celebrations really began.

Lynsey and Paul had such a clear vision for the atmosphere they wanted to create. Stylish and fun. Relaxed without losing any sense of occasion.

The champagne tower became one of the standout moments of the day and perfectly summed up the vibe they had created. Add in some sunglasses, a brilliant crowd of family and friends, and Glasgow putting on a great day, and it made for some fantastic moments to capture.

Arta Wedding Reception

Back inside Arta, the venue looked incredible.

The team at Petal Pop Designs helped transform the space with elegant styling that complemented the venue's distinctive character. Every element felt carefully considered.

Guests were entertained throughout the day by the wonderful Grace May Music, whose performance added another layer to the atmosphere and energy of the celebrations.

From heartfelt speeches to plenty of laughter, the reception felt like one long celebration with everyone fully invested in enjoying every minute.

Dancing the Night Away

As the evening arrived, the energy somehow managed to lift even further.

The dance floor quickly filled and stayed that way, with family and friends making the most of every song. It was the perfect ending to a day that had already delivered everything Lynsey and Paul had hoped for.

Weddings like this are a reminder that the best celebrations aren't about following trends or traditions for the sake of it. They're about creating a day that feels genuinely like you.
