Right from the get go, I knew Erin & Tom’s wedding at Cottiers, Glasgow was going to be fun, energetic and full of love. From their laid-back approach in the morning right through to the packed dance floor at night, this was the kind of party wedding in Glasgow that reminds me exactly why I love what I do as a Scottish wedding videographer.
A Laid-Back Couple with Big Smiles
Erin and Tom are the kind of couple you instantly feel at ease around. Fun-loving, fitness-focused, and absolutely besotted with each other (and their dog, who made a cheeky appearance on their wedding cake topper), they brought such a relaxed energy to the day. A day filled with genuine moments, laughter, and a lot of love. For me behind the camera, that made everything flow naturally.
A Ceremony Surrounded by Stained Glass
The ceremony took place in the main hall at Cottiers, with its incredible stained glass windows casting colourful light across the space. It’s one of the things that makes this Glasgow venue so unique – it feels steeped in character, but still warm and intimate. Watching Erin and Tom say their vows in front of those windows was a real highlight of the day.
Afterwards, we took a little time outside in the gardens, giving the newlyweds a chance to enjoy a quiet moment together before the celebrations kicked off.
From First Dance to Full Dance Floor
Their ceremony was beautiful, and their evening reception was pure energy. The space at Cottiers transforms brilliantly for a party, with plenty of room for dancing, which is exactly what everyone did.
With an outfit change from Erin, their entrance to the dance floor was full of fun and affection, and their first dance set the tone for the night. With music from Devotion Weddings (@devotionweddings) keeping the floor buzzing, there were brilliant dance moves, huge smiles, and the kind of atmosphere you only get when everyone is ready to celebrate properly!
Personal Touches & Details
One of my favourite details was their wedding cake – not only beautifully made, but topped with little figures of Erin, Tom, and of course, their beloved dog. It was such a perfect reflection of who they are as a couple: fun, light-hearted, and family-orientated.
