A Fun & Relaxed Teasses Estate Wedding in Fife | Carla & Scott | 27.09.2025
On the 27th of September 2025, I had the pleasure of filming Carla and Scott’s wedding at the beautiful Teasses Estate in Fife. It was one of those days that just felt completely right for them. It was fun, laid-back, and full of energy and special moments from start to finish. A day centred round family and the things that matter most to them.
About the Wedding
Carla and Scott wanted their wedding to feel relaxed and natural, and that’s exactly how the day unfolded. It wasn’t fussy or formal - it was about being close to home, surrounded by their favourite people, and enjoying every single moment together. The atmosphere was fun, energetic, and full of laughter, with a party that carried on long into the night.
What stood out to me most as their videographer was how close everyone was - not just to the couple, but to each other. It felt like a true gathering of family and friends who all knew each other well, which gave the day such a warm and easygoing vibe.
There were also some really personal touches woven throughout the day. Carla is a talented show jumper, and she had photos taken with her horses after her bridal prep. It was a lovely nod to her passion. She arrived at the ceremony with her dad and daughter in a horse-drawn carriage, which was a beautiful moment and grand entrance. And one of the most touching details came just before she walked down the aisle: their daughter had recorded a message for her Daddy, which was played for him as he waited. A memory that I’m sure will stay with them forever.
About the Venue
The whole celebration took place at Teasses Estate in Fife. The ceremony was held outside in the gardens, which made the most of the stunning scenery. Afterward, we took photos around the grounds before moving into a marquee for the evening reception.
Teasses is such a versatile venue - the gardens are perfect for a natural, relaxed wedding film, while the marquee provided plenty of space for the evening party. It really suited Carla and Scott’s vision for the day: beautiful surroundings and plenty of room to celebrate with all of their loved ones.
The Couple & Their Day
Carla and Scott’s style was very laid-back and fun; a relaxed approach to their big day. It was about enjoying time together with family and friends, and it came across in every moment. Their wedding reflected them perfectly: easygoing, full of laughter, and not taking itself too seriously.
The Party & Energy
The dance floor came alive thanks to @fifeweddingentertainments, who kept the energy high all night. From the first dance to the late-night celebrations, it was one of those weddings where nobody wanted to leave the floor. Sunflowers added a bright and cheerful touch throughout the day - from the bouquets and buttonholes to the floral arrangements - tying everything together beautifully. Their tiered cookie cake by @abonnieweecake was spectacular - the first I had ever seen at a wedding.
