A Beautiful, Personal Wedding at Winton Castle | Hannah & Will | 10.04.2026
Hannah & Will’s wedding day started in the heart of Edinburgh, with a ceremony at Chalmers Church in Morningside, that felt calm, meaningful, and completely centred around the two of them.
From the very beginning, it was clear this wasn’t about putting on a big production, it was about creating something personal, something that actually reflected who they are.
A Heartfelt Ceremony in Edinburgh
Chalmers Church in Morningside was the perfect setting to begin the day.
Right in the middle of the city, but once you’re inside, everything slows down. The ceremony felt intimate and genuine - full of the kind of moments that don’t need any staging.
Just the two of them, their people, and everything that matters.
A joyful confetti moment outside Chalmers Church in Edinburgh, with Hannah & Will walking through a shower of petals surrounded by their friends and family.
A Vintage Getaway
After the ceremony, Hannah & Will made their exit in a vintage convertible sports car. It was one of those moments that felt simple but ended up being a real highlight of the day.
Driving out of Edinburgh and into the East Lothian countryside, it gave everything a natural pause. A chance to breathe, take it all in, and just enjoy being together before the celebrations continued.
Winton Castle, Pencaitland
Arriving at Winton Castle, the whole pace of the day shifted again.
Set just outside Edinburgh in Pencaitland, it’s one of those venues that feels both grand and relaxed at the same time. The kind of place where you don’t need to do too much because the surroundings speak for themselves.
The gardens, the light, the space… it all came together in a way that felt effortless.
Scottish venues like this have a way of giving you room to celebrate without ever feeling over the top.
A Day That Felt Like Them
More than anything, this day felt personal.
Nothing forced. Nothing over-planned. Just a series of moments that naturally unfolded from the ceremony, to the drive, to the time spent with friends and family at the castle.
The kind of wedding that doesn’t try to be anything other than what it is.
And those are always the ones that stay with you.
