Some weddings have an energy that's impossible to put into words. Claire & Adam's wedding was one of those days. From the excitement of the morning preparations to the cheers echoing through the streets of Glasgow after their ceremony, every part of their day was relaxed, joyful and true to them.

With a beautiful ceremony at Saint Aloysius Church in Glasgow followed by an unforgettable celebration at Killearn Village Hall, their wedding perfectly blended the buzz of the city with the warmth of a village reception. Blessed with glorious Scottish sunshine, it was a privilege to capture their story as it naturally unfolded.

Morning Preparations

The day began with Claire getting ready at her mum's house, surrounded by her closest family and friends. There was such a calm atmosphere throughout the morning, with plenty of laughter, excitement and those little moments that often become some of the most treasured memories.

Meanwhile, Adam spent the morning getting ready in Glasgow city centre with his groomsmen. There was a real sense of anticipation as everyone made the final preparations before heading to the church.

One of my favourite parts of every wedding morning is seeing two separate stories unfold before they finally come together. Watching the excitement build on both sides always makes the ceremony feel even more special.

Saint Aloysius Church provided an incredible setting for Claire & Adam to exchange their vows. The stunning architecture and peaceful atmosphere created a timeless backdrop for such an important moment in their lives.
As family and friends gathered inside, there was a genuine feeling of excitement throughout the ceremony. The emotion on both Claire and Adam's faces said everything, making for some beautifully authentic moments that will stay with them forever.

Sunshine & Confetti in the Streets of Glasgow

Stepping outside into bright sunshine, Claire & Adam were greeted by one of the most enthusiastic confetti exits I've filmed.

Friends and family lined the street outside the church, creating an incredible atmosphere as confetti filled the air and cheers echoed around Glasgow. These are often the moments couples remember most vividly, having the chance to finally relax, celebrate together and soak in the excitement of being newly married.

With the city providing such a striking backdrop, we also took the opportunity to capture a few relaxed moments together before everyone made their way to the reception.

Celebrating at Killearn Village Hall

The celebrations continued at Killearn Village Hall, where family and friends were ready to welcome the newlyweds.

The venue was beautifully styled and perfectly suited the relaxed atmosphere Claire & Adam had created throughout the day. Guests enjoyed fantastic food, heartfelt speeches and plenty of laughter before the evening celebrations really got underway.

As the sun continued to shine, everyone spilled outside to enjoy the warm Scottish summer evening, making the most of every moment together.

No Scottish wedding is complete without a packed dance floor, and Claire & Adam's evening certainly didn't disappoint.
With **Ruckus Ceilidh Band** keeping everyone entertained, guests of every age threw themselves into the ceilidh dancing before the party continued late into the evening. It was the perfect ending to a day that had been filled with so much joy from beginning to end.

Capturing Natural Wedding Films Across Scotland

Claire & Adam's wedding is a perfect example of why I love documentary wedding filmmaking. Rather than directing the day, my aim is simply to capture genuine moments as they happen - the laughter during the morning preparations, the emotion of the ceremony, the excitement of the confetti exit and the celebrations that follow.
