An Elegant Cornhill Castle Wedding Filled with Love, Laughter & Family | Cornhill Castle, Biggar | Emma & Frazer | 03.07.2026

There are some weddings that stay with you long after you've packed the cameras away, and Emma & Frazer's was definitely one of them.

Not only was it a beautiful day at the stunning Cornhill Castle, but it also felt incredibly special on a personal level. Two years ago, I had the privilege of filming Emma's sister's wedding, so being invited back to capture another milestone for the same family was something I didn't take for granted. Walking into the morning preparations and recognising so many familiar faces instantly made the day feel relaxed and welcoming.

From the very beginning, there was such a lovely atmosphere. The morning was calm, filled with excitement and plenty of laughter, while the elegant surroundings of Cornhill Castle provided the perfect backdrop without ever taking attention away from what really mattered—the people.

A Ceremony Full of Heart

One of my favourite parts of the day was seeing Emma and Frazer's four year old daughter included throughout the celebrations. She brought so much personality and joy, whether she was proudly watching her mum and dad or stealing the occasional smile from guests. Those are the little moments I love capturing because they're the memories that become even more precious with time.

The ceremony itself was warm, personal and full of emotion, beautifully led by Nicola. There were plenty of happy tears, laughter and quiet glances between Emma and Frazer that say more than words ever could.

Relaxed Moments & Golden Light

After the ceremony, everyone spilled outside to enjoy the beautiful grounds of Cornhill Castle. The celebrations felt effortless, with friends and family making the most of every moment together.

When we headed off for a short couple shoot, there was no need for awkward posing or long photo sessions. We simply took a relaxed walk around the grounds, making the most of the incredible scenery while giving Emma and Frazer a few quiet moments together away from the excitement.

That's always my favourite approach, capturing genuine interaction rather than directing every second and these guys made that so easy to do.

An Evening to Remember

As the sun began to set, the celebrations continued with great food, heartfelt speeches and a dancefloor that stayed full from the very first song.

It was one of those weddings where everyone was simply happy to be there. The laughter never really stopped, and you could feel just how loved Emma and Frazer are by everyone around them.

Days like this are exactly why I love creating natural, documentary wedding films. Years from now, I hope this film brings them straight back to the way the day felt and not just how it looked.

Emma & Frazer, thank you for trusting me to capture such an important chapter in your family's story. It was an absolute privilege.
